I bouth these for my coomputer as my other speaker is 800 watts and lacks quality when on volume one ha ha.They are not hifi but as I said its only for my computer, laptop and tablet sounds. They are very well made and look good in black.I connect them via a 200 watt digital amp via bluetooth and get no hiss or remedial sound that I can hear. For the money I think they are an excellent choice

The media could not be loaded. Needed a set for my set up at home. Even though there was mixed reviews I’ve heard good things about these so I purchased and have to say they are great soeakers, deal with all ranges really well and is crystal clear.(the video probably doesn’t do them justice).Would definitely recommend them if you are seeking quality speakers.

Bought these on a whim to live on my office windowsill for listening to music while working or general conference calling background fill. Didn’t expect much for £69.99, but was pleasantly surprised. Finish is really good, the cherry wood looks susprisingly non-cheap and the general construction is solid.Paired with a Fosi Audio BT20a they really make for a great little low-end sleeper hifi. More bass than you’d expect from such small speakers, actually needs toning down a little. Midrange is a little ‘scooped’, but highs aren’t tinny or offensive. The more I listen, the more I like. Probably need more eq than £100-£150 speakers to sound good but otherwise a good purchase.

Finally attacked all the stuff I shoved in the attic when moving in to pull out my venerable Sony STR-DB1070 and CDP-XE510. My original turntable bit the dust about 10 years and 2 moves ago, so been using the cheap but cheerful GPO all in one for playing vinyl, mainly for the space saving aspect. I needed a reasonably priced budget set of speakers with decent binding posts (spring clips are the work of the devil) and the Roxel’s seemed to match nicely. Being in black was also a consideration. The receiver has the option of both 4 and 8 ohm output and its the latter that is driving the speakers. They’re capable of both 4 and 8 (according to the manual) so shouldn’t be problem matching them to an amp of your choice. I’m not one for playing at stupid levels and at 8 ohms the bass has a bit more gravitas. I definitely think they sound better with the higher impedance setting, but that is of course subjective. The only real problem that I have now is that after 4 years of using the GPO’s internal speaker’s I’ve realised that its RCA output is somewhat lacking and doing the receiver and its new speakers a disservice. So it’s a new turntable next pay day.Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the Roxel’s. If you’re on a budget or just want good value, £65 is an absolute bargain.

Bought these to go with a refurbished 1983Amstrad TS 88 Tower Hi Fi. They sound really good when playing records and have made an old system come back to life. The 4 ohms to 8 ohms speaker is perfect for this type of hifi which has a 4 ohm amp. For 69£ (oak nice finish) I toundt you could get much better.
