My 13 year-old son needed a set of small speakers for his PC gaming setup. He’s no audiophile and just wanted something better than the tinny built-in speaker he was using. A quick bit of searching and these Amazon basic speakers came up at a very reasonable price and were well reviewed.They arrived promptly, via Prime shipping and the unboxing was a pleasant surprise in that these little speakers have quite a bit of weight to them. They feel expensive and well made. Certinaly better than some low-end speakers I’ve handled in the past. They look great, I opted for the silver version. The blue lighting underneath adding a touch of extra atmosphere when dark.The sound re-production was as good as you would hope for a speak of this size. With no separate sub-woofer, the bass was always going to be lacking, but to be fair to these Amazon Basic speakers, they sound brilliant. I genuinely don’t think you could get any better for this price, or even double the price. 5 out of 5 stars for me. They look, and more importantly, sound fantastic for the money.Nice one Amazon!

If you just want good quality sound from your PC/Mac rather super high fidelity then these are an excellent choice. I’ve tried boom boxes, sound bars and all a bit complicated and cumbersome to set up but these are just plug and play. Great stereo, not too small, unobtrusive, look good and very nicely priced. Just buy you won’t be disappointed.

For budget speakers, these are honestly really good quality.Their compact and fit in and under a lot of things.The led lighting is subtle.They look attractive and went nicely with my laptops casing.The sound quality is honestly really good for budget speakers, very little to no tinny sound.Has a decent length on the lead.The sound control on the speakers is a nice addition (many budget speakers don’t have it).Can’t go wrong with these, only detail is the amazon logo on the top of them but even that doesn’t stick out to badly, and for what they made they deserve at least to have it on the product.

These are just amazing for the price (£15). The build quality is excellent as they have a good weighty feeling and this shows in the sound provided, even at higher volumes. Low, mids and highs are handled perfectly. The look of the speakers is very nice too, with a very subtle blue glow. If you need some desktop PC speakers then these are the ones.So happy with these. Perfect. Just get them.

I bought these because my laptop’s onboard speaker bar suddenly started crackling and was super annoying. These were cheap and cheerful but my goodness they are amazing. OK you can’t expect deep bass that will make your internal organs vibrate, but for such tiny little units the sound quality for computer use is awesome. They do start to struggle at high volumes, particularly with complex orchestral music pieces and audio sibilance – but hey these are £14.99 mini speakers.They can be moved around to create a pretty good stereo sound stage. I don’t think you can go wrong with these as general computer speakers.

I’ve bought this set to replace an older usb powered set of speaker which had a standalone subwoofer.These little ones have more punch and full bass than the set they replaced!For the price they are a no brainer.As others said the only thing that is a bit annoying is the Amazon Basic logo… but I’ve mine behind the display so I can’t see the top of the m anyway.The blue light is very subtle and not distracting even in dim conditions.For gaming I gave it a 4 stars… as well it won’t beat a 5.1 surround system, but for casual gaming are more than enough unless you expect rumbling basses and do enemies ecolocation.If you need a cheap pair of speakers, these are a no brainer.

My Creative speakers – rather big, expensive things – burned out the other day. I’m not complaining about Creative, by the way. It is honouring its warranty and will send replacements. However, these replacements will not be immediate, and I need speakers of some kind for the work that I do. So I bought these as a temporary replacement, thinking to give them to my daughter to use wither her notebook computer.The new speakers arrived today – very small things, though reassuringly heavy. I put them on an hour ago. I’ve been listening to the second act of Siegfried, which tests any speakers. I can hear a difference between these and my others. But the difference is very largely that these have a brighter sound. If I decide not to like this after a while, I can use the graphic equalizer with Media Player to turn it down. It terms of clarity, however, I can hear hardly any difference. These Amazon speakers are so completely acceptable that, if Creative were to give me a refund and walk away, I’d not feel put out.So, a very positive rating.So recommended.

Pros:At this price point I wouldn’t expect any audiophiles to be even entertaining these speakers, you get what you pay for and it doesn’t disappoint. I currently have three pairs of these speakers in each of my sons rooms attached to their xbox consoles, so far none of them have complained, I don’t feel the walls shaking from the sound and so that’s win/win for me.Cons:N/AOverall score:8/10

I bought these not expecting much (especially for the price I paid). I was very surprised however when I started using them. These speakers get surprisingly loud and provide great sound quality for the price.Don’t expect Boss level sound quality, but for gaming and Discord, these work VERY well. They have left and right stereo channels, so if you do play games that’s a bonus. They also get alittle bassy.I would honestly look at getting these if you are in the market for low cost, portable, great sounding speakers.

I got these speakers thinking that they will do for now as I work from home and do a lot of online speaking/phone & video calls. I will not need another set of speaker as these are awesome. The volume is amazing. They are clear, clean small and tidy little speakers for a PC that have a big impact. They have a stylish and modern look. I got the silver ones, and the little blue soft lights that circle the foot of the speakers just sets it off. I would recommend these speaker to anyone and everyone. All good things, truly come in small packages.
