I have had two other smart watches but compared to an Apple watch, I have to re-classify them as dumb watches. This thing is really a pleasure to use and it has tons of functionality which other makes don’t even come close to. I’ve been on the fence about getting one for a long time but I don’t regret having had to sell a liver to get one of these. Battery life is so-so, you get a bit more than a day out of it. But it charges very fast so you just need to establish a routine on when to charge it daily. Can’t say I need all the fancy sensors but the size had to be as big as possible for me which ruled out the SE.What I love:Answering messages on your watchGreat calculator appUnlock phone or macSiri is brilliant, no stupid “hey Siri” but just lift up your wrist and speakWorkout apps and move tracking phenomenalEasy to use but I recommend to spend some time watching some online tutorials and maybe read the manual to make sure you take advantage of everything it has to offer. I am still finding useful perks and functions I had no idea about after a monthListen to audiobooks and music off lineWatch faces are great and always on – animations on watch faces are over and above anything else for a watchVoice memos with a tap on your wrist – synchs to iCloudTons of apps, some are quite useful.Everything smooth as silk

Not worth the upgrade if youā€™ve already got an Apple Watch, unless you specifically have a health issue where you need to monitor your blood O2 level. If you donā€™t already have one, or if you need to replace one, this is great, and the price is good too.It is water resistant to 50m, has an always-on display, is great for fitness tracking and health monitoring, and allows you to check incoming messages etc. without having to get your phone out.The battery lasts all day, so itā€™s fine if you take it off at bed time, however, because it only lasts 1 day, completely useless as a sleep tracker.Overall, you get a lot for your money, and itā€™s really useful.

As stated in the title, this is the first Smart Watch I’ve owned. Wanted one for years but never really decided to get one. Now, though, I genuinely wish I’d done this years ago. This thing is absolutely incredible. I’ve gained amazing insight into my sleep, general fitness and being able to quickly reply to a call or text from the wrist in a pinch is genuinely game changing. Apple Pay straight from the watch is extremely handy if your phone or card is buried in a bag or pocket under multiple layers.Battery life doesn’t really compare to other smart watches but it’s fine in it’s own right. Mine lasts about a day and a half with moderate usage but might be a charge daily type deal for those that use the watch frequently. No complaints whatsoever, been nothing but happy with it. I was on the fence about putting another Ā£100 towards getting the cellular version, and having used the GPS only version for a few weeks, I would say that I will be getting a cellular version in the future – the added utility of being able to use the watch without your phone nearby would absolutely be worth it. Having said that, for now, GPS only is doing the job for me and I’m totally chuffed with the device. It’s easy to use, intuitive, practically everything syncs to and from your phone and the sheer number of watch faces available make it a great opportunity to wear the watch how you want to. The straps are easily changeable too so if you have separate straps for casual use, but would prefer a leather one for business meetings, and use a third strap dedicated to workouts, it’s entirely possible with almost no effort required.Absolutely life changing, incredible device for productivity in just about every aspect of life.Easy 10/10.

I have tried at least three previous fitness trackers, admittedly a lot cheaper than the Apple Watch but all of them failed in some respect. I had realised I would have to spend a bit more but could not find one that all tracked all elements of fitness, told the time, allowed me to choose appropriate workouts and did everything else I needed. I finally decided to order the Apple Watch so at least I would be able to assess it and compare with anything I bought in future.I know it is ridiculously expensive but against all my Intentions – I absolutely love it!!! It is an excellent piece of technology, like all Apple products it just works perfectly and it is the most comfortable watch I have ever had! It does everything I wanted and more – I would have been tempted to keep it for the Toy Story watch face alone (hilarious)šŸ¤£I honestly cannot fault it and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for the best smart watch around.

I spent years resisting spending the money and lining Apple Corp coffers with their sports watch offerings. Instead I bought a Garmin which up until the battery started dying, has proved great (and about 25% of the cost of the Apple Watch). My husband, though, has been a keen convert and over the years has been persuading me to ditch Garmin and go for Apple, more especially, as we are Apple product users and the watch ties in so neatly with the MACs and iPhones that we use on a daily basis. I ignored him (standard!)Well I have now gone for the 8 series and oh my goodness, despite the hefty price tag, this sports watch has so far proved superior in every way – from its clear-to-read watch face to the comfort of the strap, from the recording of all manner of sports data to translating to Strava and body health. This is quite literally my iPhone on a watch – I can operate Hive and activate my credit cards through the watch. This is technology at its brilliant best.My only reservations are the magnetic fast charging USB-C Cable and dock. It is a shame that these watches cannot be charged using the standard iPhone charger (would cause problems with water resistance) but I find this just a wee bit of a faff. The battery also dissipates quicker than I had anticipated. Sure you can save battery life by turning on low power mode but this also turns off or delays some of the features of the watch. However, overall, this watch is just fantastic and I don’t know why I didn’t purchase one earlier!

Have tried multiple fitbits over the years and regretted buying every single one. As an apple user with a few apple devices, finally decided to get an apple watch despite being so expensive. Have to say, like all other apple devices, it does it job as advertised, no gimmicks no buggy and crappy software – just works. The battery for me lasts 2 days (without always on display and generally light use) which is acceptable and more than the 1 day advertised. The strap it comes with is not exactly great as for me I can’t adjust it to fit perfectly, but it is better quality than what you can find on a fitbit for instance. If you are an apple user, have a fitbit and wondering if you should get an apple watch – go for it. It is worth it, there is no other smart watch that works better, especially in the apple ecosystem – everything is integrated and works out of the box, no syncing issues (like fitbit) etc.

    Great product

To no fault to amazon or apple, the device came with a damaged screen, either during shipping ot manufacturing, and I took it to Apple for warranty and it was covered, which is great. The watch works great and is a good addition for anyone who is active either in the gym or does cross fit or anything of the sort

Liked everything for this Apple watch apart from the fact it has to be charged every other day. Different faces can be downloaded, I’ve got Mickey Mouse on mine ‘cos he speaks the time when you tap him. A speaking clock on my wrist! It will even do an ECG and Heart rate, tons of applications. (I have atrial fibrillation so I can keep an eye on it.)
