Much better than book 11. It’s as moving and emotionally resonant as Mothering Heights . The development of characters was a treat , now we are just waiting for Chief and Nurse ladies’ children. Also the addition of the new , never seen before villain was a master stroke . Glad the series is not over . Well done Pilkey for showing reluctant readers how enjoyable and anarchic books can be .

I brought book one for my grandson as a gift a year ago. He loves the series. He finds the stories interesting, exciting and funny. As an adult I like the fact that the books encourages him to keep reading for fun instead of a mobile device.

I think this book is very funny and a great addition to the series and I highly recommend this to people who want to have a good old laugh.

We pre ordered this book and it arrived on the same day as it was released. My daughter was so excited to read it once she got back from school and read it in one sitting (she’s a fast reader) she’s so happy to add it to her collection on the dogman series

My little boy, who is 8, is a huge Dog Man fan and we waited for a long time for this book! He has re-read all his other Dog Man books dozens of times while waiting!He said this book was as good as all the others, he loved it, and is getting all his friends to read it now too!
