I’m not quite sure why there have been negative reviews of this product. Yes it is a firm seat, but I would not describe it as uncomfortable, in fact I find it quite comfortable to sit on. The fabric is good quality and the colour (mustard) vibrant. It’s great value for money for an occasional use sofa bed. It’s easy to assemble, unless of course you are incompetent and can’t read instructions. I managed to put it together on my own with no issues.
LucemLucem –
Had tried a different one at the same price point but found the click-clack system broke soon after. This one seems to be standing up to use, and looks nicer and is more comfortable.

I already really love this chair!Delivery: I had a 2day wait for standard delivery which is fineTime slot: 7am-7pm, arrived at 0830 2 guys carried big box into room It was a big box, deffo need two ppl.Packing:. I laid box on floor, taped side up Which means sofa is facing floor Base facing ceiling, this does matter when u open box as accessories are in zip in compartment in the base so base needs to be facing up so u can unzip compartment with zero faffing Sliced the tape all the way round, with a knife then lifted lid off Removed plastic by sliding it off, unzipped the material panel in base to remove bag of parts.Impression i was really really pleased on first impression. It just looked so niceParts:. A bag of bolts are concealed in a really neat tidy n secured nifty zip compartment ‘under’ the seats Im goin to store quilts n pillows i there, lol.Assembly: well! Lol, it was pretty easy for the most part. Took me about 45 mins A few fiddly screws but no real problems to be fair.Side panels: This was the most fiddly bit Screwed the double sided screws into all 5 holes in both side panels I balanced chair on its front edge so i was behind it, black base material to my tummy, Held it up steady with one arm whilst i lined up the side panel screws to holes in end of settee with other hand, yes a bit of a balancing act but if u line up and gently insert top screw a little the other lower screws find their holes fairly easily, with a tiny bit of wiggling them into place They went into their holes very easily, line the top hole first, then the other ones lower dwn go in easily then the panel stays put so u can go in the zipped panel n put the nuts on the inside to secure the side panel. Inside the zipped compartment i had to gently pull the black material up a bit so i cud get to the inside to screw the nuts on, but its ok, the flap just tucks bak inside so u can still zip the compartment up fine.Legs:. Once i had the side panels on i tipped it upside down, Seat was facing floor, so top of side panels where ur elbows wud go were resting on floor then i screwed the legs on. There were pre prepared holes easily visible for the screws Easy!Front panel. Best do this after doing legs as settee already upside down There were no pre prepared holes for this which threw me a bit for a second, so i jus looked at the picture lol then lined it up with front of the sofa n used the sharp black screws to screw it into the ‘black’ material straight into the wooden frame within.Height: Its a lot lower than i thought! But not too low or uncomfyDepth:. Comfortable with bum right back. I didnt need a back cushion Wished seat came right out to behind knees but it stops short With bum right back seat ends before the bend in ur knees However in recline position, with legs up, a throw and a cushion, lol its quite comfy actually, Its deffo not a ‘sink into it’ settee, In the upright postion, its deffo a settee n not a couch or sofa!Positions: Easy ‘click clacks’ to move backrest Flick forward to release position Comfortable upright Mid recline position Flat bed positionBed:. Firm with comfy but basic sponge Deffo ok for a few nightsDamage: A couple of very minor things that do not affect the operation or asthetics of the chair at all STAIN Very small stain in the crease of the chair, between the seat n the back rest, it looks like a spot of glue maybe. Not major as its in the crease, otherwise id have sent it back which would prob have been a logistical nitemare! TEAR Also, whilst i was screwing the doubled headed bolts into the arms, black material on inside was torn looks like it had been glued bk together which looks like it worked for the most part but looks as if it has come unstuck a little at the edge, (picture above) does not affect the outside asthetic at all so again, not majorly worried at allConclusion: LOVE IT! Its just perfectly what i want Ok wish it was highertaller It just matches my mood n time of life right now. Simple but stunningly under rated!END
