The media could not be loaded. I like this heater. All metal. Heavy and looks robust. Has a safety knob so can’t be turned on by children. Also if tipped or dropped will stop automatically very cleverly. This is my second heater from Honeywell and they make really good heaters. 5 stars. See video for more.

Unpack, plug in, turn on and hey presto it heats up a 3×4 metre room quickly and maintains whatever temperature you set it to. I haven’t found it particularly expensive to run, but then I have set it to around 15 degrees…..

Pros:- All metal construction! No melting plastic like our old one.- Old school utilitarian look.- No electronics, hopefully simple to repair.- Measured voltage and current, it is 2500w!- Decent quality power lead, 1.5mm which is good for 16amps. The heater uses 10amps so no overheating issues. (Our old heater had 0.75mm cable which is okay for 6 amps but the heater used 8amps, hot cable and plug!)- Tip over protection appears to work effectively.Cons:- Not keen on the ‘fan only, 1 or 2’ selector switch. You need to depress and twist which doesn’t feel great but it works okay.- Price of electricity! To run any electric heater is expensive. Based on current rates of 35p kwh. This heater will cost 87.5pence per hour or £21 if left on for 24 hours!!!

Big tough metal box, very sturdy.Good strong metal fan.This replaces my 7 year old other Honeywell heater that is still working and looks like new. I’m using that in another location. So i have been impressed with the quality of the brand, even if it is just another brand label now.Great power output, not super quiet but its more a space heater. Heats my room up very quickly meaning I can turn it off via a smart plug and not worry about noise.

Last December 2017 I had a major leak in the new GRP roof the workmen had installed on my garage and the corridor leading to it. We had a major storm a matter of hours after they had completed their work and the hardener had not yet dried fully. The result was water pouring in from many points in the ceiling, running down the walls and flooding the floor. I had just had the garage converted into a third office/visitors bedroom. In conjunction with a dehumidifier unit this little heater did it’s work very well and over a week the room had fully dried out.I had of course to drill several holes on the ceiling to ensure all water did drain out. The contractors resealed the GRP roof and corridor roof another three times and now the roof looks like a sheet of glass! They also filled in my holes, repainted the ceiling and walls at no charge. They were very apologetic about the problem but of course, the storm was NOT forecast and the day they did the work was quite sunny.

This heater ain’t pretty but it sure does the job!! It warmed up my large bedroom which is 35 metre square in 10 minutes. I left the door closed and was quite surprised how warm it was , as my radiator has packed up this heater has been brilliant. It is not a full time heater but warms up the bedroom nicely an hour before I go to bed when I switch it off. I used it in my same size conservatory on Christmas day and it was brilliant. The heater is very light and easy to carry from room to room.

Sturdy, stable and looks as if it will last. Performs well and has the features you need. For some uses it will be too noisy. Old school controls with no added electronics to go wrong after 30 days!
