Our ferrets love this cage, there’s loads of space and it’s much easier to clean than others we’ve had before in our 12 years as owners of various ferrets. I assembled this myself without too much bother, but a rubber mallet was really required to hammer some pieces in. The package is also very heavy so having two people might make it more manageable.

A fantastic cage for ferrets and easy for owners to clean and maintain. It did take me all day to put together though as a lot of the metal partitions were ever so slightly out of alignment and warped meaning the pieces refused to slot together like it should have. It took several hours of brute strength and hammering interspersed with frequent cigarette breaks to de stress to finally get the pieces to slot together. Now it’s up it seems very secure and strong. At times I thought I would never manage to hammer it into place and nearly gave up but it all went ok in the end. It was worth the days stress and physical exertion to see the result. I can’t wait to get my baby ferrets this year to put in it. It’s the nicest cage I’ve ever had for my ferrets and well worth the effort.

This is one for the makers as I cannot find an email but cage pictures should have a person stood next to it as it gives a far greater image in your head of the size of the cage. A white wall with white background doesn’t give a feeling of size, put someone next to it and instantly it gives off the height, length, and wide feeling. Hope that makes sense.

I bought this cage for my two chinchillas two years ago and it’s an amazing cage. Our cage isn’t showing any signs of rust as yet. We have altered it slightly with custom cut aluminium floors (metals4u online) to make the floor flat and safe. I use one aluminium sheet on top of another. I cover the bottom one with a pee pad and the main one/floor with a pee pad and anti pill fleece, which I clip down with flat stainless steel money clips. This made it chinchilla safe, and easier to clean and change fleece since I can pull out the main floors and still have a flat surface for them to run about while I change their covers. I also watched a YouTube video of a man who made his cage more sound proof with red rubber coverings in the joints of the cage, which made a difference since one chunky chin is an avid runner. My chins love this cage! Since buying it, I’ve also had to break them up due to fighting, so thank god this cage was easy enough to split into two. Eventually I’ll be buying a second cage so my boys have one each and can see & talk to each other more if they want to, sadly for now I don’t have the space.Pros – very sturdy, not a single bent or broken bar in last 2 years, can be customised by buying aluminium sheets for flooring (but must be covered with pee pads and fleece to ensure no sharp bits of metal & for hygiene, can be split into two if one animal is unwell or pairs fall out, easy to put together with two people (although we did nearly fall out 😂)Cons – Expensive but having bought a cage previously half the price which ended up with broken bars very quickly, this cage is 100% worth the investment! Plastic flooring which isn’t suitable or safe for chewing animals like chinchillas! Metal ledges and ladders included were dangerous in my opinion and were binned as again weren’t safe for chinchillas.If you’re thinking of buying this (for chinchillas anyway), it is a great cage but you’ll need to put some money into customising it to make it safe. Bin the included metal ledges and ladders. I wouldn’t recommend using the plastic trays either but there are lots of American buyers of this cage who still use the plastic trays and cover these with fleece. I just found that impossible and worried about my chins chewing and ingesting the plastics since even small amounts can kill them. Yes that’s annoying, but I can honestly say it has been 100% worth it to know it will last and my chinchillas are safe from harm and comfortable. I just wish I had the space for a second one!

We have two ferrets, but they aren’t free roaming 100% of the time because we have other pets, so I had wanted to upgrade their cage for a bit to give them more space while they were in their cage, and this was the #1 recommended cage on forums when I looked into them, so I figured I would give it a try.This is a perfect setup for us. Plenty of space for both ferrets, lots of options for how to setup the levels, the trays and stairs are perfect (and it came with washable stair covers for them, which was a nice surprise), and everything in the cage is so easy to access. The double doors that swing open wide make cleaning so easy, and everything was easy to setup inside without any issues.Putting this together actually wasn’t the worst experience, either. I did it by myself and it took me maybe 45mins, thought it was awkward at some parts where it would be easier to balance certain trays or panels with another person. Only issue I had was a single screw on the bottom didn’t fit because apparently they didn’t drill the hole large enough, so I had to zip tie the tray to the sides, which was fine. Considering the price tag on this, stupid mistakes like that are annoying, but the entire rest of the cage went together super easily and without any other issues, so overall, it wasn’t a deal-breaker.I did wait until this was on sale for Thanksgiving, and it was $110 less than the current price, so if you’re waiting to get this, Black Friday was a perfect time, honestly. Well worth it, we absolutely love the cage.
