   Received this watch early January 2024, very happy with it. It looks soo classy, I lurve the Chrome silver look. The leather Eco watch strap which it is accompanied with is very nice, the look and feel also feel like quality.All of the tracking sleep, heart rate, stress, ECG etc, those features do not interest me and not something I will utilize. I primarily purchased the watch for Step count and to monitor gym activities, the array of exercises on the watch is vast whereby you have the option to customise and add your own if prefered.As usual I love all of the customization options present with Samsung devices, to add that personal touch, customizing screen menu options and the flexibility to switch to Google Assistance if preferred over Bixby, as well as setting the keyboard to Google keyboard, which seems easier to user than Samsung keyboard.The watch is very simple to use, the volume on the watch is v.good, call quality no issues and so easy to xfer the call back to the phone. Connect other devices eg Bluetooth buds, so simple and to listen to Spotify, spotify playlists can be downloaded to the watch.The screen quality is amazing, the colours are vibrant, intuitive user navigation which flows naturally. All options can be done on the Wear phone app if preferred, so you are not limited to the watch screen.I decided to switch to Samsung Watch, when my fitbit finally decided it had had enough, I was not impressed with Fitbit quality, so opted to switch to Samsung, which also works well better with my Samsung phone.Oh I have one critique, be wary of Wifi connection whilst connected that burns down your watch battery pretty quickly, so be mindful not to leave it on constantly. On the flip side Bluetooth does not run down the watch battery and as mentioned in Youtube videos that watch can last on a single charge up to 2days. Wireless charging is very fast.An excellent buy and worth the money, when you compare the watch to Apple Watch, it does the same but soo much cheaper! its a Win Win!I can’t say enough good things about this watch the versatility is second to none!

   Samsung remain on top of the game with the Galaxy Watch6 Classic. Sporting the latest Wear OSv4 and Samsung’s superb OneUI v5 skin for extra features and functions.We see the return of the extremely useful rotating bezel, which was strangely omitted last year. This time it’s slimmer, allowing for a larger sharp, vibrant and very bright 47mm display. It’s readable in the brightest sunlight and it’s responsive and super smooth. The bezel gives you a really intuitive way to navigate.The design with stainless steel and sapphire glass is very premium, especially in silver. It looks extremely classy. The watch bands have a new easy release catch which is also welcome. I purchased the camel brown strap separately, and it really enhances the look further. The watch has a decent weight which I prefer. Media is handled well, with the built in speaker being quite loud. I’ve also had excellent connection to my phone at all times too.Built-in apps have everything covered, like Google maps and contactless payments and a suite of health apps. The Play Store is available for countless additional apps of course.The range of exercise monitors is staggering, and I make full use of the health monitors. I track my blood pressure (this initially requires calibration with a regular BP cuff), my SPO2 levels, heart rate and ECG. They’ve proven to be fairly accurate when measured against true medical grade devices. I also track my sleep, which collaborates with my phone to detect things like snoring and breath rates. The results are very detailed and informative. Stress level monitoring is also available and has a fantastic breathing tool to help relax you!My only criticism is battery life. It’s not terrible by any means but I have to charge it every 1.5 days. I could get longer if I switch certain features off, but I like the ‘always on display’ as I want a watch to always show me the time. Still it does charge very quickly and bedtime charging is routine for me anyway.I absolutely love the watch, it looks stunning and performs perfectly for me. I have no hesitation in recommending this. It’s another winner for Samsung.

   The media could not be loaded. Before unboxing, I wondered how the new Galaxy Watch6 would fare against my sleep tracking ring which I’ve been using for quite some time. I was particularly interested in the heart rate accuracy as it’s important in sleep assessment. Upon first use, its face stands out straight away. It’s big and elegant but also lightweight. The default band is comfortable, but it can also be swapped for a different one if need be.The touch screen is very responsive and easy to use. Battery life is outstanding as it only needs charging every other day. The watch supports fast charging which gets the device ready for a full day in just under 40 minutes. I noticed that the sleep assessment is pretty accurate and consistent with my ring. This is interesting as this watch is not really marketed as a sleep tracker. For me, the most useful feature is the contactless payments. Up til now, I would always use a device attached to my keyring. Since I started wearing the watch, it is now much more convenient for me to use it for making payments.Overall, this is a solid device which is bound to make everyone’s life much easier. This watch is stylish, comfortable and works smoothly. It can be used for health tracking, keeping in touch or for making payments. Highly recommended!

   The media could not be loaded. I’m fairly experienced with Samsung Galaxy watches, having owned the previous Galaxy Watch 4 and another earlier model. The Watch 6 arrived nicely packaged and with approx 80% battery – a quick seal break and the watch was ready to go. Setting it up was easy, thanks to the familiar Galaxy Wear app, moving all my apps and settings from my old Watch 4. The Watch 6 boasts a larger screen and a premium, robust appearance compared to the 4. The rotating bezel is a brilliant addition, simplifying navigation, compared to the 4, which had a virtual bezel around the screen . Battery life impressively averages around 40 hours, meeting my needs and it charges rapid, allowing me to keep it topped up each day without worrying. One thing that could have caught me out was that the charger uses a usb c, rather than normal usb on my previous 4 charger. Something to be aware of in case you don’t have a usb c brick. The health features great, similar to the 4 with continuous heart rate monitoring and the ability to perform ECGs as needed. The blood pressure monitor is good, although setup requires a proper monitor initially. The sleep tracking is great , providing detailed sleep stage breakdowns and a sleep score in the Samsung Health app. Being able to record snoring and skin body temperature is an improvement over the 4 which helps explain some of the reasons you receive. Subtle differences and improvements are definitely welcome. Overall, I adore this watch, especially its substantial 47mm size and the convenient rotating bezel.

   All the features of this watch are great – but the battery life is woeful. Brand new out of the box, my partner is getting less than 24 hours out of this watch’s battery before it’s completely dead. For an item in this price bracket, that’s pretty poor. It also means that, because it’s under 24 hours, there isn’t a set time of day when she can recharge it. It’s supposed to monitor daily activity, and sleep – but it means she has to choose one over the other to monitor. Takes about 70 – 80 minutes to fully charge from almost empty. That’s EVERY day. Samsung claim extended battery life in the Watch6 – can’t imagine how poor the previous iterations were! Did people have to walk around with them permanently plugged in ?

   My 1st galaxy smartwatch & I am 99.99% thrilled with it. I have the 47mm classic & it is about the same size as my watch it is replacing. I chose the black & I am hoping the black coating is durable. Only time will tell.Thanks to lots of YOUTUBE videos it has been easy to set up. My only workouts are daily dog walks,so I bought it more for the ability to make payments, make phone calls, messaging & health checking. I’ve swapped Bixby to Google Assistant as it’s much better.I have almost everything turned on so I expect lots of battery drain. I’m getting just over a day, but I’m OK with that. I have a galaxy phone so that I have all the features available to me.If I was to be critical, I would love to have had either a Snapdragon chip instead of the Exynos & that would give longer battery life as my galaxy S23 ultra phone has achieved. Maybe a larger battery.The dual charger & the extended 3 year warranty has softened the blow on the price.Finally, I have to say that I could not have expected more from a watch & I’m a happy teddy bear.UpdateI have had it now for 1 week & I would like to add some updates.The black coating isn’t as durable as I had hoped. I accidently knocked the watch on a wooden desk the other day & it has chipped the black coating from a part of the rotating bezel. I already regret choosing the black finish. I am a Samsung loyal fan. I currently have a Samsung laptop, 2 tablets, 2 phones & this watch & they have all been flawless, so this ding is disappointing. For a premium brand & premium price I expected more.I also have a dilemma with charging. Now that I have settled into a daily routine I find that the battery usage is 35 percent a day (I use sleep mode at night with uses only 9 percent of the battery), so that if I charge it to 100 percent I can comfortable get 2 full days. However I use the battery saver on both my phones & tablets, which limits the charge to 85% & I have read that Apple recommend charging their own smartwatches to 85% too. Samsung don’t seem to have any guidance with this watch so I don’t know whether to charge daily but only to 85% or whether to charge to 100 percent & charge every 2 days. I am hoping to keep this watch for at least 3 years so I am doing the 85 percent daily routine. It only takes 20 minutes or so to charge & the watch doesn’t get as hot.All things considered I am still thrilled with this watch, but I wish that I had purchased the silver (stainless steel) version.

   I had high expectations for the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic, and what first caught my eye was the return of the rotating bezel. The last time I saw this feature was back on my old Galaxy Watch 2, and it’s been sorely missed every since! Straight out of the box, the Watch6 Classic is stunning. It looks and feels like a high quality product, and the way it’s presented in the box is excellent. The leather strap is also a really nice addition, and helps to reinforce this theme of quality. Couple this with the polished black metal and crystal clear display, you can be confident in this device turning some heads. Setup was an absolute breeze. Going from a Watch5, the Galaxy Wearable app found my new watch and asked if I wanted everything copying over from my old device. This took a matter of minutes and before I knew it my Watch6 was snuggly strapped to my wrist and fully operational. Aside from having to add some minor preferences, it was a seamless transition. The actual watch itself has met and exceeded my expectations in terms of usability. It lasts all day, and then some. Although I don’t like sleeping with watches on my wrist, I’m confident the battery would last all day and night before needing a charge. Which leads nicely onto the charging speed – it’s lightning quick. I’ve often taken my watch off at the end of the day (at around 50%), put it on the charger and received a notification saying it’s fully charged within 15 mins or so. Everything about this watch feels like an upgrade from the previous version. And although it does the same as the Watch5, the return of the bezel is what really sets it apart. The fact you can navigate the watch using something physical is a really nice addition, and I find myself using that exclusively over the touch screen. The buttons on the side have had a small update too, as they seem more pronounced but aren’t in the way, thanks to the bumper placed between them. All in all, the Watch6 Classic is an outstanding smart watch. It flawlessly achieves everything you’d expect from a device like this, and has improved on the already outstanding build quality, with the return of some old features and some new bells and whistles (sapphire crystal display). If you’re in the market for a smart watch, this is definitely a good place to be.
