This is great! I fought to get seeds ready to plant for years but was hampered by the inability to control heat, humidity etc. All this crop have germinated and are doing well. As I invest good money on pepper seeds this is good because you seldom get more than ten seeds and you can’t afford to waste them.SET UP. Easy enough but read the instructions. Certain frame bars go certain places. I had planned on taking it down between seasons. Nope. I don’t think it would last long like that. Also there’s the fan to deal with. Plan where to put it and leave it. Doesn’t mean it’s not built sturdy. Heavy canvas and zipper. But frame is tight fit inside and attempting to repeatedly remove and replace it could damage the lining. Also built a table to raise whole thing a foot. Getting too old to knee on floor.USING. Mine is in a cold basement. Does not come with heater and light does not produce enough. First I made a table to raise trays to a comfortable height and to allow room for heater. 250watt heater is plenty. Connect to a thermostat control. Had to put a small USB run fan behind it to keep it from overheating the internal breaker when it’s shut down. It would come back on after 30minutes or so but that was too long to keep temp constant.To control humidity place a metal bucket of water in front of heater. Adjust humidity by varying distance to heater. Humidity meter comes with tent.FAN. Circulation fan works well. Very quiet and can be run very slow. They recommend putting the filter in the tent. Not really room in one this small. Mounted it overhead. See photo.HOOKUP. You’re going to need several outlets and timers. Have a timer on circulation fan since it blows in cold air I limit the time it runs. Also out one on light to turn off at night.OVERVIEW. Big investment for me but has made my growing so controllable and easy that it is totally worth every penny. If you’re serious about growing this is the way to go.I read some complains that it will not keep ALL the light inside. True. It will leak small amounts in various places. Not a concern for me.

The media could not be loaded. This grow light and tent kit is perfect for the small-space grower. Almost everything you need to grow your first crop is included at a very reasonable price. I wish I had started with one of these spider-Farmer kits rather than trying to piece together a much larger (and much more expensive) set up on my own.It was a really easy to assemble and the materials are all of a better quality than I expected. The first thing I checked on the tent was the zippers and they are heavy duty (and the seams are light proof).The light is really bright and I love the dimmer capability. I can start low and turn it up as the plants mature and need more light. Dimming is better for the plants and saves on power expenses.I would absolutely recommend this kit to anyone interested in getting started or growing in a small space. It is an exceptional value for the price

This is a quality grow tent system. The tent fabric is thick and durable with heavy duty stitching and no light bleed. It has a heavy duty zipper that should last a long time. There are plenty of access ports for different venting schemes and routing power cables in/out of the tent. The frame is solid also. I had a missing frame part that was sent to me after several emails with Jenny/Spider Farmer customer service. This missing part didn’t prevent me from setting up the tent and I have to compliment and thank Jenny on her continued communication throughout the process.All of the electronic components are working correctly and my plants are loving the SF2000 LED grow light. I recommend installing a fan to blow across the top side of the LED panel/driver to supercharge the passive cooling. This should help ensure the longevity of the panel/driver.The temperature humidity controller is a nice upgrade over the standard manual fan speed control. The fan can be triggered to run at 10 different speeds via high/low temperature and/or high/low humidity setpoints. It can be run in manual mode also. The fan moves the air effectively and isn’t abnormally loud at maximum speed.I saw many pictures/videos of people mounting a fan controller on the outside of their tent by poking holes though the tent for the cabling and using screws to attach the controller to a piece of wood backing inside of the tent. I didn’t relish the idea of poking holes in my brand new tent so I mounted the controller to the outside with heavy duty Velcro tape and ran the fan control and temperature humidity sensor cables over the top of the tent into the back center top port. This arrangement is neat and the temperature humidity sensor cable is long enough to reach the floor of the tent.I have had the tent for two months now and everything functions correctly and I expect this to last a long time. I highly recommend this Spider Farmer 4×2 SF-2000 grow tent system.

This tent is great for growing at home, comes with everything and was very easy to set up. Tent is very sturdy, lights and exhaust fan are good quality too. No light or smell escapes tent. Lots of videos out there to help setup if needed. This item will last many years to come 😁.

So far so good – setup was simple enough, and although there are a lot of instructions (too many almost), they could be more clear. That said, it took me about 1 hour to fully setup the entire system by myself so I can’t complain too much. I would suggest assembling the fabric tent to the frame from the bottom side up, and don’t be afraid to apply some pressure to pull it all together. I had a hell of a time trying from the top down. The frame poles could fit a little more snugly; they wobble quite a bit if handled without some care, so the sturdiness of them long-term is questionable but seem to be doing the job, so time will tell.The light assembly comes with instructions but is already assembled in the box, which was nice. It seems to be more than sufficiently bright with a dial to adjust intensity as required, and really does not put off much heat despite being so bright. The metal panel is solid, very solid. Better quality than I was expecting, so I’m pretty happy with the light overallPlenty of exhaust/fresh air ports for an array of setup options and the Velcro is strong, as are the cinches on the exhaust ports. Have mine set up with exhaust fan inside, carbon filter outside, and the whole kit near an open window for fresh air. No smell so far, and seems to be good quality.The only true complaint I have is the quality of the zippers: they seemed very sturdy at first with nice rubber, branded pull tabs. But already with approximately 1-2 tent openings per day for 2 weeks, they tend to get stuck a lot and require some tinkering to resolve, which makes me think it will only get worse.Overall, I’m extremely happy with the purchase as I was comparing brands and kits for weeks, and I believe I made the right choice. Even with the zippers being questionable, I can’t give anything less than 5 stars here; great kit, great price, seeing very good results so far.

I’d recommend this tent bc of the size, quality & this company Spider Farmer. Making it just over 2ft wide is so awesome, it allows for extra room for humidifiers or fans, while still giving you many options for how many plants, 1 , 2 3 or even 4 5 gal pots can easily fit in with tent along with other equipment as you can see in my pics. The height is great too at over 5ft. Really smart to make these slighter larger tent options.Spider Farmer also helped me with questions & responded fast.The light is very good & has good reputation. The fan runs a lot quieter than what I’ve experienced with some other brands. I’ve also had no problems with light leaks.I like how theres a vent in the back of this too. That way you can put that right up against a wall & really helps keep light from getting in while still allowing fresh air in. Smart placement.For new growers, I think this is a great kit to buy bc this tent is really awesome, but it gives you everything you need to get started right away (minus the soil & seeds)Easy to set up & this was my 1st time getting a tent & growing anything & while I’m still learning, I’m so glad I invested in this tent kit & will be using it all for long time.

Just got my tent this morning and set it up, building frame was simple I’m a newbie to all this so I was a little frustrated since there was no directions on best way to hang up ventilation and lights. It came with cheap straps that just barely hold evenly as well as hanging light. Fan is ok it works so far but not that powerful. Great quality on everything else except for humidity monitor its definitely made in china and doesn’t show correct indications and aswell as the plug timer I can’t seem to set it to 18hrs.
