I recently purchased the CREATIVE Pebble V2 Desktop Speakers, and I am utterly delighted with this purchase! These speakers have quickly become an indispensable part of my setup, and I couldn’t be happier with their performance.First and foremost, the design is simply mesmerizing. The Pebble V2’s minimalistic aesthetics blend effortlessly with any desktop or workspace, elevating the overall ambiance. The smooth contours and matte finish exude a sense of modernity that perfectly complements my setup. The audio quality of these speakers is what truly sets them apart. Despite their compact size, the Pebble V2s deliver an astonishingly rich and clear sound. The 2.0 USB-C powered system ensures a reliable connection, and the 3.5 mm AUX-in option provides versatility for various devices. Whether I’m listening to music, watching movies, or indulging in my favorite games, the audio experience is immersive and captivating.Another standout feature is the impressive 8W of power output. These little marvels pack a punch! The sound remains distortion-free even at higher volumes, which is a testament to the quality engineering that CREATIVE has put into these speakers.Setting up the Pebble V2 was a breeze. The plug-and-play functionality with USB-C made the initial connection effortless, and I didn’t have to deal with any complicated configurations or software installations. Within minutes, I was ready to enjoy premium sound quality.Additionally, the integrated volume knob on the front of the right speaker provides intuitive control over the sound output. Adjusting the volume is quick and convenient, and it adds a tactile element to the overall experience. One more thing worth mentioning is the value for money that these speakers offer. Given their exceptional performance, sleek design, and reasonable price, the CREATIVE Pebble V2 is undoubtedly a steal. In conclusion, if you’re on the lookout for desktop speakers that combine elegance, performance, and ease of use, look no further than the CREATIVE Pebble V2. Its outstanding audio quality, hassle-free setup, and attractive design make it a perfect addition to any desktop or workstation. I can wholeheartedly recommend these speakers and give them a well-deserved five-star rating!Pros:Stunning, minimalistic designExceptional audio qualityUSB-C powered with 3.5 mm AUX-in8W power output with distortion-free soundUser-friendly plug-and-play setupIntegrated volume knob for easy controlGreat value for moneyCons:(None to mention – these speakers have exceeded all my expectations!)

I wanted a pair of inexpensive speakers to upgrade the sound of my Desktop PC’s Inbuilt Monitor Speakers. This pair of Creative Pebble V2’s met my needs perfectly. They are made by a Company with a Long & Respected History for producing Computer Based Audio Systems. The Pebble V2’s are well made, having a Simple, Clever and Stylish design, as well as sounding pretty impressive for the money. I really like these Pebble V2’s, and are just what I wanted, as well as being worthy of my 5 Star Review.

My specific requirements were these: I listen to a lot of music at my desk. An Asus Vivobook connected by minijack to a UE Megaboom produces very decent sound and packs a more than reasonable bass. But it has the limitation of being a single speaker lacking true stereo separation. I planned to enhance the sound quality by connecting these Pebbles into the existing setup using a minijack splitter. Syncwire are always very reliable for these types of connections. The result has been very pleasing. The Pebbles have added an impressive stereo spread, the UE Megaboom acts as a type of sub-woofer and adds additional depth of field and detail. On their own these Pebbles, as others have said, do lack bass, although the bass is not as weak as some have suggested. There is rear facing port. These are capable little speakers with a small footprint around a desk. Giving a circumference is not terribly helpful perhaps. The measurement across the front, framing the maximum width of the sphere, is about 12cm. Top to bottom we are talking about 15cm.Connection is via USB (3 or C) for power only; audio via minijack only. No wifi or Bluetooth.Set up is child’s play, minutes. We are not talking high-end audiophile sound analysis from these speakers and the volume will not rattle the windows. But for listening at sensible volume at close range there is nothing to complain about. At this price these excellent speakers are a bargain.

Earlier this year I bought a Mac Mini and was frustrated to discover how little control you have of the volume when outputting to a monitor. It might be down to my monitor (a 4k Asus ProArt display) but even on the lowest volume, it was too loud, and on the Mac you can’t adjust system volume when sending the sound to a monitor; to adjust the volume to something bearable I had to use the Mac’s internal speaker, which I really don’t recommend.Suffering from ME/CFS, I’m particularly sensitive to audio, especially if it’s too bass-heavy. These speakers having passive bass radiators, just like my TV soundbar (which thankfully has bass adjustment, which I still had to reduce several steps), gave me some hope.Everything is hardwired together, and there’s a USB A adapter included (which I needed to power them via my monitor), so setup is a bit of a pain – the cables very much get in the way – but once they’re in place it’s all good.As expected, turning the dial all the way down turns them off, which is perfect as I definitely don’t need them on a lot of the time. There’s a switch on the bottom of the speaker with the dial, marked “high gain A” and “H”. After looking it up, A is auto (the default) and H is high (which sounds a bit louder to me, which I didn’t need, so I set it to A).Sound quality is surprisingly good, with everything nice and clear, the dial making adjusting the volume as required very easy. You’re not going to be getting full uncompressed audio over these, given the price and use of an aux connector, but they really did surprise me by being far better than I expected at this price point. They’re not even as big as I expected (being round, the dimensions measure the widest points, so I was trying to visualise them as almost spheres when trying to figure out whether they would fit around my 27″ monitor on my computer desk, which is only 80cm wide), so they’re easy enough to accommodate. The audio issue with my Mac Mini was really bugging me, but these have instantly proven themselves to be the essential accessory to resolve that problem.

Good set of mini speakers to replace my old ones which gave off a lot of electrical noise. Nice all-round sound out of them and no hiss. Good product at this price.

I recently purchased the Creative 2.0 speakers, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with the sound quality they deliver. Given the affordable price point, I wasn’t expecting much, but these speakers have exceeded my expectations in every way.The audio is clear, crisp, and well-balanced, producing rich tones and deep bass that truly enhance my listening experience. Whether I’m watching movies, listening to music, the sound quality remains consistently impressive. In addition to the outstanding audio performance, the speakers are also well-designed and aesthetically pleasing, fitting seamlessly into my home office setup.Overall, I highly recommend the Creative 2.0 speakers to anyone in search of high-quality sound at an affordable price. You won’t be disappointed!

I was looking for a small foot print desk stereo speaker system. Living in a terraced house I was not looking for massive wattage nor for powerful bass, but I did want to hear the sounds, music and/or enemies. My previous setup had a huge woofer on the floor, which I kept knocking and that irritated me, so was looking for just 2 speakers sitting on the desk. These speakers provide sound perfectly, being used just about quarter way from the “off” click, so well within their capabilities. My add-on sound card is made by the same company and works perfectly with them. Very happy with these. If you live in a big stand-alone house and prefer not using headphones to hear every nuance of an orchestra then possibly look elsewhere for a 7.1 setup, but for my basic gaming needs, this is perfect.

Bigger than what I expected, but definitely with quality sound. I read that it’s got no bass? I connected it to a projector and played a movie through a dvd player, well.. first thing I did was decrease the bass setting. It’s got a lot of that!
