I had issues assembling this. Couldn’t get the left pedal to screw into the body. Almost sent it back as I was sure the screw was the wrong size after numerous attempts but so glad I didn’t. Amazon were very helpful & offered technical help but I managed to do it by myself. I removed all the weight so just tried to connect the arm. I had to re-grease the screw and it screwed in easily. The tension was also a little tricky at first as the directions aren’t clear. Make sure you turn the tension knob to number 1. Unscrew the the little nut under the lever enough so that the lever can be screwed down enough so the tension cable can fit in. Then tighten the nut & lever back to it’s original position. Make sure you tighten back to its original position otherwise you won’t notice much difference in the tension resistance. Other than that, the instructions are good & assembly was ok. Nice & compact size. Easy to move around on wheels but would be a little weighty if you are thinking of lifting to move upstairs etc. Quiet, smooth & sturdy. I would recommend.

This is brilliant value for money. I’ve been using it for several weeks now, 3 days a week at 45 minutes a time. It doesn’t take up much room, and can easily be pushed around so you can put it out of the way after each use with not a lot of effort.It takes a while to put together but it’s not that difficult, I’d recommend you check out a video on YouTube to do so as the instructions can sometimes be confusing. Don’t worry about the instructions telling you about all the additional bolts and screws that you think have gone missing, they’re all in the parts already.When everything is put together it feels pretty solid but will wobble a little when you use it, though not enough to make you think it’s going to break or snap. It doesn’t make much noise, either, which is excellent if you want to watch TV or keep the noise down for other people. Make sure you tighten ALL the nuts and bolts, otherwise it will squeak and make some funny noises – I made this mistake but fixed it several sessions later.While it doesn’t have fancy technology for pre-set or custom workouts, the resistance is easy to change and gives you a solid workout. I set mine to 5 right away and that felt good without being overly difficult.Overall, I highly recommend this to anyone in a flat or just looking to save some space and want something that’s great value for money without spending (sometimes) double on effectively the same thing by a more well-known brand.

After both me and my sister using it for over a month, I’m very happy with it. Putting it together was a little difficult but it works great. The resistance levels are good and it’s easy to use the control thing, u can set timers, calorie goals and distance goals. Its smooth to use and I actually enjoy using it 🙂

Now the “Sunny Health & Fitness Legacy Stepping Elliptical Machine” is [finally] unboxed and assembled I’m very pleased with this item. Of course it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of one you’d find in a gym, but that’s because you’re comparing 150 against 5,000 in terms of price, but it can still measure calories, take your pulse, has increasing levels of resistance, set a timer and other functions. True, it can’t link to your phone and provide a history of your performance but I was happy to live without that. It’s also surprisingly quiet, the loudest thing about it is the beep-beep-beep at the end if you’ve set the timer. It doesn’t need to be plugged in as the LED display works off batteries. Also, easy enough to move as there are fly-wheels on the front bar.Now for the not-so-good bits. When the box arrived I was surprised at how small it was. Naively I was expecting it to be almost ready-to-go apart from maybe attaching the arms, screwing in the foot pedals sort of thing. So, so wrong. It took an age to unpack all the pieces and when I saw the instruction manual I was shocked. This is not like assembling an IKEA bookcase! I found it a lot of work, yes, the instruction manual is clear and helpful[ish] once you’ve read it half-a-dozen times, but even so, there is so much to do. At one point I even considered sending the machine back… but then I realised I’d have to pack it all up again and that seemed even worse… so I ploughed on with assembling the thing. For me, it was quite a workout and a huge sense of achievement at the end.The other thing is the stride length – obviously not a long as you’d find in a professional gym elliptical trainer – I’d say 5ft 10 inches is most likely the max on this machine.So, if you’re not too tall, happy with screwdrivers, Allen keys and lots of bits to assemble, and want an elliptical trainer for 150 pounds then this is your machine!

This is my third elliptical over the years, I was not sure about buying another as I am now alone and needed to build it up myself.I am 67, completed it in about two and a half hours, the sticking point was the tension cable as everyone states and the reason I was unsure about buying it.Luckily, a gentleman had reviewed this elliptical and said to put the dial to one, that then lengthens the tension cable, then you need to pull up the bottom part to engage it. I watched the video, but the man’s hand obscured him pulling up the cable, once the tension cable was connected it was a doddle.After using it, my garmin fitness watch was reading twenty minutes the elliptical was twenty minutes forty three seconds, that is not a problem for me. I take a size five shoe, the foot plate is fine, probably two/three more inches to play with.I am using it on cushion floor, it never moved at all, the machine is very quite.All in all very happy with this machine.

I read the reviews and looked at a number of elliptical trainers and eventually decided on this one. I’m 70 years old. I unpacked the box at the door and carried the items individually as the box is very heavy. I read the instructions more than once. I placed out all the parts and made myself aware of what went where and how and over a few hours I built the machine together. Absolutely no problems. The most difficult piece to connect was the tension cord and getting the metal stem in place but with patience it went ok. I’ve had this machine three weeks now and love working out on it. The main annoyance is it creeps around when you are using it and is starting to mark the carpet. I will purchase a mat to stand it on. All in all a good purchase although probably not suitable for a tall, heavy user. I am 5’1 and 8 1/2 stone.

Let me start by saying that I am wary of buying Chinese products due many being made down to a price and consequently lacking in quality. However, with this exercise machine I was supprised buy the build quality for the price.There is quite a lot of assembly required, but the instruction manual very good at guiding you through this. Just make sure that you read it before starting and follow it through every step. Unfortunately the operating instructions are not so precise but it will become clear with use. Beware that this machine does provide a good work-out, so start with short sessions and gradually increase.

This machine is good if you like to train regularly, but have no much free time . If you cannot commit to the regular training – do not buy, as it takes some space in the room – quite high. I wish it could have a bit longer steps – they are just average, so not very good if you are young and need a proper training. I think this can also be very useful for mature people and for people with doctor’s advise to train more, because you do not need to walk out when there is dark time of the day (like in the short winter days) or when it is a rainy day. I am glad I have one, because i used to be very active, but not now, and this machine can help to stay in shape – you can choose to walk 5 minutes or a whole hour in front of TV!
