This book is fabulous, it has helped me already as a parent. I listened to the Happy Place podcast with Kate Silverton on and pre ordered the book. It is written with such compassion and authenticity. I have had a lot of therapy, but I often forget strategies in the moment, but the baboon, lizard and wise owl metaphor has really helped me visualise which part of my brain is doing the talking. It’s helping me understand myself more and in turn making a difference with my 10 and 12 year old. I’m sure it’ll help when I’m teaching as well next term at school. Thank you so much.
