It’s a great size for a family, bigger than the 1000 series and connects to a full size canister rather than the small disposable ones.To keep it clean I just heat it on full power after I’ve finished cooking for about 5 minutes then use a wire brush to clean the grill plates in situ, easy.Doesn’t come with a thermometer so I bought a separate one, drilled a small hole and screwed it in.It gets hot quickly and stays hot, even on the lowest setting. When cooking with the lid closed I could probably do with a cooler setting but it is what it is.Solidly built and I use it on a table. Realistically it’s to big for me to take out for a BBQ at the beach and as you need a gas canister you probably wouldn’t anyway.Definitely recommend.

Liked everything about this BBQ. Just had to put handle on lid and fit grill. Great size cooking plate easily feed 4. Used several times already and so easy to clean.

I had my last charcoal BBQ for about 10 years, I’m a massive fan of charcoal and never wanted a gas BBQ but after seeing this Weber on offer and having just built an outdoor kitchen I took the plunge.When it arrived, the box was massive and heavy, unpacking it I found all the parts were good quality and assembly was minimal.In use I love it, very quick to get up to temperature, cooking can be done in 30 minutes end to end (not like a charcoal BBQ) food tastes great, and cleaning is surprisingly simple.Yes, I’m converted to gas thanks to Weber.
