The media could not be loaded. I’ve owned the Original, Mini and Pro from Yololiv and each one has got better and better and so they should 😀. The Ultra has a fantastic screen, 4k streaming and recording and loads more new features, but I upgraded due to the fact its got a quicker CPU than the Pro, NDI in and out, SRT and H265 encoding, the latest software 1.7.0 released yesterday now has multi angle replays and a Android mobile app to control the device wirelessly which I’ve yet to try out. Don’t get me wrong I’ve had software issues with the previous line of Yololiv products but I don’t know of a more active customer support group that quickly fix the issues and that’s the reason I stuck with Yololiv products for the last 4 years, I’d urge potential buyers to join the Facebook group to see genuine user experiences good or bad and see the community and tech support they receive, but yes the Ultra gets a big thumbs up from me 👍

I’ve been looking for a truly portable multi-camera video switcher and streamer to build a video production flypack to broadcast youth basketball events. Before I met Yolobox Ultra, a stationary setup in the venue requires a fair amount of time on the site and also requires a sizable space for all the equipment. In a lot of non-pro level tournaments, these are a luxury to ask for.Now, Yolobox Ultra does a quite good job for me to provide such an on-the-go solution without sacrificing the functionalities I wanted to achieve. The YoloBox ultra is a compact live streaming tablet-like equipment with 4 HDMI inputs, 2 USB A inputs, 1 USB-C input, another USB-C port for power, a LAN port, a headphone jack, a microphone in and a line-in.Why I bought the device:I do sports streaming and taking a powerful laptop, power station, docking station and a bunch of capture cards felt super uncomfortable transporting the items and setting up the whole framework felt like a nightmare and was time-consuming. It also requires a power supply to be provided wherever the stream is set up. YoloBox Ultra is a lightweight tablet that eliminates the need for a capture card and power supply by making it super-easy to set up a multi-camera live streaming wherever you want, very quickly. It offers 95% of the features that software like OBS provides. I carry a 40000 mAh power bank that can power the YoloBox Ultra beyond the 6-hour battery life that the device itself provides, with which, I have streamed games for up to 14 hours continuously without the need of a power supply.Stability of the stream: The stream feels super-smooth and the interface is very user-friendly. We have the option to choose the encoding settings, bit rate and fps of the stream output along with the recording output. I have heard very positive feedback about our stream’s viewing experience from multiple clients of ours till now.Stand-out features: Network bonding, multi-camera replays, ISO recording, and so on are some of the standout features I have felt.Drawbacks: I have felt some minor drawbacks like the lack of stinger transitions between video sources, lack of macro automation capabilities, limiting the number of local videos to only 5, lack of folder structure and so on. Also, the YoloLiv team is super responsive towards their customers and when we report any problem or possible enhancement, they take our feedback seriously and deliver on it!One major issue is the pricing. I live in India and the YoloLiv team isn’t working on regional-specific pricing. I feel that the Ultra being sold for $1500 may feel affordable for someone from the USA. The media could not be loaded. Wow Yolobox Ultra is a Beast of a machine! Amazing features 4k, ISO recording, multi angle replays, NDI, Bonding. This Ultra device is amazing, built well, powerful and every feature works well! A portable touch screen device makes livestreaming easy but professional at the same time. I love being able to ISO record my 3 cameras, then be able to have multi angle live replays instantly. Network bonding has been rock solid for all my streams using 4 connections as you can see in the pictures. I can insert client logos easily, edit scoreboard on the device, it now has a remote app too. NDI is amazing for my wireless Obsbot cameras. I know I can also stream in vertical mode to social media platforms too.

This is an excellent 4K switcher. The videos are crisp and beautiful! It’s easy to use. The customer service community of excellent, but you most join the Facebook groups for Yololiv and Yolobox. Frank and Josh are excellent and they really help people find solutions to their problems and they send out updates with new fixes. God bless them!

I purchased the new YoloBox Ultra and really enthusiastic about all its capabilities. Not only does it do what the YoloBox Pro did but adds the functionality of the Instream platform to stream vertical videos as well to platforms like Tik Tok and Instagram. All of this takes place in a much more powerful box with a faster more powerful processor and lots of new added features. I like the potential of what the Ultra box will do for my video production business. This little box does more than the large hardware video production switcher I bought several years ago for a lot more money.

Where do I start? I own the mini and was so impressed by it that when the Ultra came up with its insane 4 hdmi inputs plus USB and NDI, I knew I had to get it. This box is extremely powerful. It does it all! Dual encoder, network bonding, replays, web control, built in scoreboard, URL overlays, guest features, comments, audio mixer. In addition to all that does vertical streaming too. The support has been great from the Facebook Community and Yololiv listen to their users, and their requests are considered when developing new firmware versions, fixing bugs and adding features. I use my Ultra mainly for live sports(soccer and baseball) and honestly I was able to completely ditch my laptop as part of my setup. I would like to mention that it has some bugs like any other new device but the development is nonstop and the fix is usually only a couple weeks out. Overall super pleased with my purchase and I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a live-streaming solution.
