Who we are
gizaverma.com is a UK shopping guide that links to products on Amazon.co.uk. We don’t sell anything ourselves and we don’t take payments. The data controller for this website is gizaverma.com, contactable at support@gizaverma.com.
What we collect
- If you email us: your email address, your name if you give it, and what you write. We use this only to reply to you.
- When you visit the site: like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in server logs used for security and to keep the site working.
- Cookies: the site may set essential cookies needed for it to work (for example, to remember a search or keep the site secure). We don’t ask you to create an account, and we don’t sell your data.
Amazon links
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When you click a View on Amazon link, you leave our site and go to Amazon.co.uk. Amazon may use cookies to record that you came from our site, so that we can be paid a commission if you buy something. Amazon doesn’t tell us who you are or what you bought as an individual. What Amazon does with your data is covered by Amazon’s Privacy Notice.
Our lawful basis
We handle this data under our legitimate interests in running a secure website and answering the people who contact us.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run the site for us: our web and email host (Hostinger) and our DNS and security provider (Cloudflare). They process data on our behalf. We don’t sell or rent personal data to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep emails only as long as needed to deal with your message, and no longer than 24 months. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our host, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, or to receive a copy. Email support@gizaverma.com and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
